Sorry, can't do that. A Kakuno is a lovely moderately priced well-behaved pen, and lots of people find FPs make their handwriting better or encourage them to work on it. Remember that glittery inks may cause blockage in finer points. Go wild!
I’ve done this for 2 weeks now and it *absolutely rules*. Best class discussions I’ve ever had. Best engagement with readings. They write in this worksheet for 15 minutes, then talk about their responses in groups of 3-4, then groups share with the whole class, and *then* we talk about the readings

I have been writing in a a Kakuno notebook with no fountain pen bleed through, despite some impressive blobby drips; but I was playing in it with a metallic orange gel pen (Papermate InkJoy) and it went right through.

I have soaked some of mine for literally four or five days, and continued to get little pools of color in the water. Then I got a nasal aspirator to squoosh water into the feed and it speeds things up. I keep mine near the kitchen sink. (baby aisle of drugstore, something along this line:)
