Odd weekend: I had to deal with a cold (not Covid, thankfully) which kept me from raking leaves (the HOA property manager was asking if he should start sending out warning letters at the meeting last week - I asked him to just hold off awhile.) We worked a bit on getting Lisa's new laptop set up.
It was something related to Israel that got the doom-wishing fundamentalists excited. I don't know the details though because [all the reasons not to know these things]

I'll probably bring leaf removal up, since the HOA Board passed some annoying "get rid of leaves as soon as they drop" measure and every weekend-start, I rake and rake and bag and every weekend-end I have so many leaves that dropped after raking/bagging.

I don't disagree! But until they're abolished, I will serve on my HOA board to try and protect the homeowners from the HOA. This is a rare case where we have an insane homeowner (who originally got mad at the HOA for not being meaner to her neighbors) being unreasonable
Just 6.5 hours until the monthly HOA meeting, where our hedges will be discussed (again). The weather was cruddy yesterday, and now I feel cruddy, but I can't skip the meeting in case the Hedge Witch shows up.

Good morning! This month I learned that there’s a pressure regulator valve on the water line, and they sometimes go bad. (I learned this because last week our pipes started knocking when the toilets were refilling or more than one faucet was in use.) The pressure was too high in the pipes.
