As for protecting women's spaces: there is no evidence of transwomen in bathrooms or lockerrooms leads to unsafety. There is more chance of the transwomen getting harrassed than vice versa. And the women in lockerrooms have a higher chance of getting harrassed by a male coach or someone they know.
