i know artists are putting out rebirth albums all the literal time lol idk though, finding out how upset some fans were at gerard for putting out such an artistically different album a year after my chem broke up because they saw it as a betrayal/selling out/deemed him fake etc just got me thinkin
gerard's debut (and so far, only) solo album "hesitant alien" came out september 29th, 2014; many fans felt betrayed and put off by the sonic/aesthetic/thematic departure from the gerard they knew taylor released her own full pop re-brand/"rebirth" named for her birth year on october 27, 2014
