No, it really doesn't mean there are 'quite a few people'. There is at least one person, his name is Donald Trump. That is the only man they are protecting now. Might have been half a dozen, maybe a dozen. Don't fall for the QAnon attempt to deflect from the one guy found liable for rape.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
MAGA has been busy at work trying to expand the scope of the scandal to dilute Trump's personal involvement. The only 'club' we know was involved is Mar-a-Largo, the rapist circle was probably more than just Trump and Epstein but not everyone Epstein ever met. That is QAnon fiction.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
What he is saying is exactly what the victims said. You are the person trying to fit it into a different narrative here. The girls were paid by Epstein and Maxwell. There is no evidence of anyone paying Epstein for sex. There is evidence of people paying Epstein money to keep quiet.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
That is clearly false as the FBI investigated both Epstein and Maxwell for rape and their victims named Trump as another rapist.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
All the signs point to them doing exactly that except that Epstein also had a line in extortion. The money comes in where very rich people had Epstein manage very large amounts of money for them which they clearly never expected to get back.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
They weren't pimps. All the evidence points to Epstein and Maxwell being serial pedophiles sharing their victims with a very small group of their closest friends and that Trump was one of those friends. It does appear that the pair also engaged in extortion.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Has 'comedian' Gutfeld ever said anything that was remotely amusing? Seems to me that he is just another Fox News hate yakker who hides behind a label so he can pass out more hate than his network rivals.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
If Badenoch doesn’t want to be the person condemNing people fomenting violence, she has no business being an MP, let alone being leader of any party. She is utterly unfit for public office and always will be. She doesn’t want to risk losing supporters of the violence.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
It wasn’t fear of prosecution that MI5 used to turn Joe Cahill, the father of the child he raped was another IRA man, MI5 told him they would tell the father who would have undoubtedly settled the argument with lead.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
So Trump just committed another set of murders in international waters. Lets see the SCOTUS corruptions squawking 'Presidential Immunity' when citizen Trump is rendered to stand trial at the ICC.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Thing that is likely driving this though is the collapse in the cost of grid scale storage. They aren't using lithum any more, sodium allows greater volume density and is cheaper. The batteries weigh a lot more but that isn't a concern.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The thing most folk don't seem to get with the storage is that your storage need is zero[*] until there is electricity to store, i.e. your renewables are regularly creating more electricity than current demand. Now we are entering that zone. [*] Apart from complimenting gas peakers.

I am also a paid subscriber to the Guardian. The problem is that the Guardian being a foreign newspaper doesn't play the same role as a US based source could.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Every day I see articles telling me a market crash is imminent, time to sell. And yet I am registered to loan stock and don't have a single share out on loan at the moment. The market is clearly irrational; prices are bound to fall sharply some time but doesn't look like it will be very soon.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Back in the 70s, some friends of mine were situating the TV antennas in West German so as to maximize distribution into the East. We knew we had won when the opposition put a repeater station in so that the folk living in Dresden could watch Starsky and Hutch.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Reading between the lines, looks to me like the chap's core problem was that he was an alcoholic and the other two offenses resulted from him either having spent all his cash on alcohol or being too sozzled to remember to buy a ticket.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Well, it's kind of difficult to have English broadcast TV without buying content from the US and the UK showing Black people in roles that completely demolish Apartheid ideology.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
In the UK, that might be the result of Wilson and Thatcher both being concerned that South Africa had compromized at least one pedophile MP (Cyril Smith) and had set up an operation targeting others (Elm Guest House).
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The US needs an equivalent of the London Guardian, a news source of national scale that is not owned by an oligarch. Would be no difficulty finding staff and there are plenty of folk who would pay $8/mo.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
He turned traitor knowing he was about to be sacked anyway because he had been caught fare dodging.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Oh, it was even stupider than ideology. That is the story Bettany told. He had been convicted of fare dodging and being drunk in public, was warned that he would be sacked if he was convicted again and got pinched for using an out of date season ticket.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The reason the KGB moved on to pedophiles was homosexuality was losing its stigma. And then they faced the problem that pedophiles are much rarer so they had to make them.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
MICE isn't exclusive. The Soviet spymasters tried to use all four approaches if they could. The current FSB influence agents are clearly being paid as well as all being sex pests. Likely the extortion part is primarily used to discourage revealling the initial approach, get the first jobs done.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
My sympathies, I know what that is like.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Thing with these idiots is that they are utterly unable to see how one of their policies of being nasty for the sake of it affects another. Throwing the Korean workers in jail means ALL foreign investment in the US will come to a screaching halt.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Yeah, I was trying to refer to Trump's recent attempts to blame NAFTA 2 on Obama...
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
I am pretty sure they will do exactly that. Unbolting the equipment and moving it south probably won’t add more than six months of delay.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
That list is way out of date, E*Trade hasn't existed for nearly a decade.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
He didn't even retract his desire to see people murdered, he just reduced it from all homeless people to 'some'. Everyone involved should be fired. Time for another advertiser boycott.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Only, that is exactly what they are doing long term. The Dems now know they have to treat the remnants of the coal industry and the oil and gas industries as enemies just like Thatcher killed the British coal industry. That was the legacy of Russian interference as well: Arthur Scargil.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Shutting down battery production to make EVs that will reduce demand for Putin's oil was the entire point of the raid. Trump is a traitor working for a dictatorship and trying to turn the US into Russia.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Yeah, I know Trump had the name changed to erase Obama's achievement. Just like we will be erasing the Pedo Patio and the Bigots Ballroom from the White House.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
It is MAGA on MAGA violence. Same happened with the NAZIs, Hitler's first purge was the night of the long knives when he murdered his rivals inside the party.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Just to be clear, there is no number of people it is OK to murder except zero. Brian Kilmeade saying he only wants some homeless people murdered is not OK, it is yet more incitement to violence from the right that the right refuses to repudiate or condemn.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
They would be well advised to set up in Mexico or Canada. That way they can export to the US through NAFTA. While The Rapist is also attacking neighbors with tariffs, it is more likely that not that will end shortly after the plant is complete.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Kilmeade did not apologize, that isn't an apology. He still advocates mass muder.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Kirk is dead because an even futher right wing nut killed him. MAGA has been metastacizing into terrorist factions for quite a while and the primary concern of those factions is to eliminate their rivals on the far far right. Kash Patel might want to look into that problem.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Which is why I said we should go straight to 7 day max lifetime certs and renew every day. We have been making OCSP tokens every day for over a decade. No difference between making OCSP tokens for individual certs and making new certs production wise.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
We did get Maria Butina shut down and the Edinburgh Diplomat did get some jail time (but not for the treason). The real spooks don't want the FSB/GRU tradecraft revealled. They used it themselves on Joe Cahill.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Spy thrillers are all stuck with the KGB tactics of the 1930s when they recruited Philby and co through ideological subversion. That hasn't worked for them since people found out about Stalin. Perhaps I should write a proper spy thriller on the new methods.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
If someone is spewing hate speech like Kirk did, I really don't need to know anything else about them. Kirk claimed the Jews control the media, he circulated a hit list of his opponents, doxing them and inviting his supporters to harass and attack them physically. That is all I need to know
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Because he is saying exactly what his boss Lachlan Murdoch believes.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
It was a nonpology, Lachlan Murdoch doesn't want to have to justify Brian Kilmeade's spewing NAZI ideology at cocktail parties.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
This is not an apology. Saying that only some people should be murdered for being homeless is still outright NAZI ideology. Brian Kilmeade should have been sacked the minute the words left his mouth. He should be sacked now. But Rupert Murdoch lives to incite violence.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
I think the reason the FSB like it is that it utterly destroys the reputation of their victim.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
But a remarkable proportion of those tens are people the FSB might have an interest in. Three members of the WikiLeaks crew, a couple of members of anonymous, etc. etc.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
I did some digging on this as the number of suspicious deaths climbed. The number of deaths by autoerotic asphyxiation is so low, it isn't measured. Its tens per year. It turns out that it is pretty difficult to top yourself that way, you lose consciousness and relax your grip.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
All the FSB would need to do is modify their standard pedophile honeytrap approach. Instead of putting the mark in bed with a 12 year old, he gets a dominatrix who ties him up and then the assassin comes in to finish him off with a plastic bag.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Consider the fact that Milligan was a vocal critic of Yeltsin and two other critics of Yeltsin died in similarly peculiar circumstances. It was only after the GCHQ guy was found locked in a sleeping bag with a padlock that he obviously could not have closed himself that the FSB retired that tactic.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Charlie, knowing what we have learned since, the notion that Milligan was murdered by the FSB is a very real possibility. We certainly know that HMG would have covered it up if they suspected Russia was behind it like they did with many others.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Oh I can and I do.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Kirk's business was making enemies lists and encouraging his supporters to harrass and physically assault the people listed on them. He was an antiSemite, a hatemonger and only supported free speech for people who agreed with him. He was killed by a fellow MAGA extremist.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
No, he advocated MURDERING homeless people.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Everything about the investigation suggests a group of experienced, competent investigators being led by a group of idiots who direct the investigation according to their ideological prejudices and tweet out anything that might provide temporary political advantage
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Umm just looked up M98 online and they put the Mauser 98 at just shy of $1000 new and $700 used. The M98 on the other hand is $15K and up and very hard to find. Given the sloppy reporting by the FBI, has someone assumed a Mauser 98 and M98 are the same gun?
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The guy was only caught because he told his dad who turned him in. Patel didn't want to find a MAGA killer.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The fact that he was using a $10,000 rifle vindicates those of us pointing out that shooting Kirk from 200 yards with a single shot suggests the shooter was an expert. It's like watching Tiger Woods make every 5 yard putt on his round and saying 'yeah I can do that'. No, you can do it occasionally.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Right off the bat, it was obvious that Kash Patel's politicized FBI were only looking for a leftist killer. They were not looking for a professional killer, they were certainly not looking for a right wing crank who thought Kirk to liberal.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Impeach, convict and render him to the Hague to stand trial for crimes against humanity.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
This is full on NAZI ideology: Murder inconvenient people. Homeless people have every much right to live as Charlie Kirk and Brian Kilmeade.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
So right wing ideology is so fragile, it can be undone by less than one semester of college.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
I see no reason for the left to be suppressing critics of Israel. Blair spent his political capital and credibility backing GWB's idiot war in Iraq and now Starmer is going to the mat for Israel's genocide.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Hamas is a death cult but they are not stupid. They set a trap, Netanyahu walked into it. Saying 'you made us kill 150,000 civilians' doesn't exactly claim the moral high ground even though Hamas clearly intended to provoke an attrocity on a large scale.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
So the notion that Israel can continue as a 'Jewish' state where everyone is equal but somehow Jews are more equal than others and have a corrupt court system Jim Crowing it is simply not sustainable. The West was never going to stand for that in the long term.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Predicting political outcomes on five year scales is really hard. But the longer term is much more predictable. The assassination of Rabin by the settlers ended the possibility of a two state solution. And the only stable one state solution is with actually equal citizenship.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
So the shooter being white means the civil war is over, OK yeah, I get that part. But the state funeral, the monument on the mall and the national holiday in his honor, are those on or off?
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
All that licking of Putin's bum hole and what did Charlie get for it? I tend to wonder how careers like Mr. Kirks occur. Someone deided to give him a vast amount of money and attention to build his career. Could he have been yet another kompromized Russian agent?
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Just thought I would help remind people that the people trying to deify the antisemitic hatemonger whose primary tactic was doxing and publishing hit lists of his enemies didn't like him as much as they now pretend they do.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Mr Graham seems to have missed the 'omniscient' bit. God doesn't need to ask questions because he knows why Graham voted to acquit the pedophile rapist felon despite knowing he attempted treason.

Trump has inspired political violence against Democrats, against Republicans and against the Republic itself. If people want to remember Charlie Kirk, the best way to do that would be to address the gun violence that ended him. The Charlie Kirk Gun Control Act is something everyone should support.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
So yet again, the Charlie Kirk's assassin turns out to be a MAGA chud. But don't expect Trump or his enablers to apologize for accusing Democrats for inciting him. Inciting people to violent acts is easy, less easy is getting them to attack the targets you intend.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Tell you what, let's honor the memory of Charlie Kirk by honoring his last request: Release the Epstein Files.

The question in my mind is always 'is this person likely to kill again'. The worst-case scenario is a 30-something serial killer.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The 'person of interest' looks pretty young, most likely a student. So that makes it unlikely this was a Russian op. He is wearing some pretty distinctive clothing which points to poor OPSEC. The FBI should be able to arrest him within days.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
When our data center was attacked by Iran, they attempted to lay a false trail implicating Israel. Took all of five minutes to prove it was fake, but they did make the attempt. If it is a false flag op by a teen right wing chud, it will probably fall apart very quickly.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Nah, those will all snap back pretty quickly once we render Trump and his accomplices to The Hague. And they shouldn’t expect Thomas or Alito to save them, they will be on the next flight over.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
The whole effort smells like a deliberate attempt to sabotage US production of Electric Vehicles. But the effect is going to be global: Trump has proved that the US is a dangerous place for foreign companies to work and certainly unsafe for foreign companies to invest.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
One possibility that should be explored but the Kash Patel FBI certainly won’t consider is the possibility that Kirk was killed by the Russian FSB to advance the career of a kompromized successor.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Kirk was a far right antiSemitic hatemonger who claimed ‘the Jews control the media’. He also called for the release of the unredacted Epstein Files two weeks ago. There is motive there for both far left and far right assassins.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
It is far too soon to assume Kirk’s killer fits the ‘deranged lone gunman’ profile typical of political murders. That is the most likely case but not the only one.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Kirk was not Hitler though. He was just this season‘s Milo. He would likely have faded into irrelevance after Trump’s fall.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
The Facebook policy of downrating pages with links means that I know a ‘Philadelphia Karen’ was sacked yesterday but absolutely no idea why. The also discourage people bringing facts to an argument by refilling the feed if you spend five minutes doing some actual research.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
So, we are supposed to be very upset at the murder of Trump supporter Charlie Kirk and completely ignore Trump’s murder of 11 Venezuelan fishermen. Perhaps Kavenaugh thinks it is obvious people with brown skin might be drug traffickers And they just need to expect to be murdered.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Shooting at a range and shooting in the field in a situation with limited cover are very different things. Also, the rifle would have to be suited to easy concealment. The relevant point of comparison here isn't an army sniper, its the previous MAGA assassins.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Even more impressive
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent

I would suggest that it is far too early to decide whose side the shooter was on. Remember that Ghandi was shot by a Hindu fanatic upset that he wasn't taking a hard line against Muslims.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Given that the police have released both their initial suspects, it appears that the shooter had a planned escape route as well. It might well be that we don't find out who the killer was or what his motives are until he has killed again, quite possibly more than once.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com)
Looking at the Kirk assassination from a security perspective, it appears to be very different to the recent MAGA inspired violence. Unless the shooter was very lucky, they were a very good shot, hitting their target from 200ft.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
Trump incited them to commit the violence in the first place.
Phillip Hallam-Baker (@phill.hallambaker.com) reply parent
