In some ways my dad was incredibly lucky- he got malaria & was hospitalised when his friends attempted to break out of the camp. They were executed. But mostly he had the ability to process his sufferings & enjoy his life after the war without letting bitterness eat away at him.
My niece went out with a chap called Steven, who had a brother called Steven. This was actually his uncle, but, why on earth give him the same name? If you wanted to keep it quiet?

But she had two kids,one with each brother, so I’m still none the wiser . The oddest family I’ve heard of is a couple who had a child, separated, she married & had 2 more children & then divorced. Then the original couple got together again & had another child. People are strange.
