values and the edges are kinda bad, shape design is weak yeah

now i am DOUBLE confused because this book seems to be 90% the same material as the part from Bridgman's Complete Guide to Drawing From Life .... except with the addition of Lock folds.
oh thanks! maybe i am reading the wrong book. this one is called "drawing the draped figure". i was super duper confused
hmm... do you know where in the book? im not sure, but it looks like it uses terms like "falling", "rolling", and "flexion" folds rather than the ones above.

i gotta question about drawing clothing folds -- where are people getting the "types of folds" from? i.e. pipe, diaper its not the bridgman book bc everyone is calling the folds at a bent elbow or knee a "half-lock" fold, but brigdman calls that a "lock" fold. (half-lock is something else)

on the bright side i've never been in the art industry becuase i quit my programming job to be an art youtuber

tbf bluesky is the only platform i vent on because its smaller and cozier. other platforms are much larger but they're glorified portfolio websites for me

youtube wasnt even my idea and i openly say i dont and have never liked making youtube videos!!! but it pays my rent now, so.... but yeah, it's true. people say that you should expect it, but why is this even the norm? its sad.
my fragile mental will sadly do most of that work for them. but its ok ill just fret for 30 minutes and ill be fine afterwards. hopefully
