Many games let the player "cheat" a little bit by nudging them to safety even if their jump wasn't pixel-perfect. The fatal flaw of this film is the focus on Jean's fantasy fulfillment, and not on the dynamic between Claire & Anne. The film very obviously caters to male desires to the total exclusion of female agency; even Claire, the dominatrix, is entirely focused on Jean's pleasure.
