In the early 70s in the Jersey Meadowlands where Giants/Jets stadium is now built was a place with batting cages and a very tiny arcade - after hitting had a few quarters left and played a game called Space Invaders - sooo much fun - hooked me - that summer spent many quarters in that little place

Christopher Lloyd as Jim Ignatowski on the 70s/80s show TAXI He had two truly classic episodes - young studious Jim in college meeting and equally young pot head Tom Hanks character who introduces Jim to his future. AND Jim taking the written part of his drivers license test and trying to cheat.

John Denver had an incredible voice - his is my much preferred version. When young I never appreciated Denver but as the years passed, I listened again, and heard the quality of his work. My sister saw him in concert, and she said when it was over, she wanted to hug a tree - not a bad review.

Alien - Superman - those Kryptonians can be incredibly destructive - no wonder Batman wanted to kill the main one. Vampire - Angel - a character with two personalities and was far more interesting as Angelus. Elves - Wizards - underrated animated movie.

The Truman Show Loved the message in the movie - having been raised in a Catholic house and went to Catholic school I knew the dogma - then later to discover that all we were taught didn't hold up to scrutiny - finding and wanting the truth takes a little courage as did Truman sailing to freedom.

Most remember her for I Love Lucy but I will always be grateful for Lucy because -- "If it were not for Lucy, there would be no Star Trek." Thank you Lucy

Do you think he can get Kevin Sorbo to join up with him? Could care less about Cain but not Teri Hatcher - she was an awesome Lois Lane and an especially beautiful actress - we can't have her name stained in any way.

Gene Barry and Anne Robinson were also both in the 2005 Tom Cruise, Steven Spielberg version. A story that has been a book, a radio play, multiple movies and TV shows. I've read the book, heard the radio play, watched the movies and shows but that 1953 movie is most definitely my favorite.

The Seventh Sign Nothing better than a good scary biblical prophecy plot.

For me it's a tough call between A League of Their Own and The Long Kiss Goodnight. Both movies can be watched more than once and be enjoyed even more on a second watch. Both very quotable. I'm not going to choose and let it stand as too difficult - for me - to call.

I might’ve been informed that - “There’s no crying in arachnophobia.” It is just another story in a life of being the youngest of 5 and with 2 older brothers in an old school Irish family. An occasional horror story but mostly a lot of fun.
