In a lot of the mainstream coverage, there is an assumption that one has to believe the “client list” conspiracy theory to think Trump committed crimes with Epstein. But, I think the simplest explanation is: the files contain further damning circumstantial evidence that Trump committed crimes.

The simple explanation is the one that Trump has all but repeatedly admitted in public. Not just that he committed crimes with Epstein, but that he was one of the most frequent clients.

I don’t assume there is any evidence that Trump was an Epstein “client.” I think Trump and Epstein were best friends for many years. They dated and pursued the same women. They hung out a lot. I assume the files contain evidence that Trump was hanging when Epstein committed crimes.

You’re right that he wasn’t a client…he was a partner. Epstein did the grooming, Trump provided the hunting grounds for him. In exchange for allowing Jeffrey to use Donald’s assets (MaL, Trump modeling, etc) to procure “talent”, Donnie got to enjoy the spoils. It was a partnership.

Whether there is clear evidence he was hanging with Epstein when crimes committed or committed crimes himself it's hard for me to believe he wasn't at least aware of the crimes and did nothing. That should be a crime itself for anyone to which that applies. Probably why we'll never know.

I think that’s more of a conclusion from facts and information we have gathered over the years. Not so much an assumption. A list is just “a list”. We know Trump was close with this pedophile and we know that Trump has a history of sexually abusing women. It’s not a stretch to draw this conclusion.
