I don’t think they’d actually have to repudiate their bizarre dicta on the emergency docket. They can say “this qualifies as ‘cause’”, if they care to provide any explanation at all
Right, "for cause" will turn out to mean "anything the administration declares to be cause," whether or not it is proven, related to the job, or happened on the job
