Sounds like Caleb Williams
Sounds like Caleb Williams
Difference is Caleb was way, way better in college
caleb's also a significantly better athlete, which I feel like was always the problem with sanders when I watched him
Sanders looked slow a lot of the time, yeah. And if that's how it looks in college... Sanders backyard football highlights made me say "wow, college football is sloppy" and Williams made me say "wow, that guy is a superhuman"
So true. Yet Sanders plays like he has Kyler Murray's wheels and can escape any pressure. Now that he's in the NFL and every single dude out there can run him down, that mentality just won't cut it.
yeah, he was probably never the fastest guy on the field in college, but he definitely wasn't the slowest in the NFL? There might legitimately be 15 faster guys than him on the field at all times. Just don't see how this is ever gonna work without a significant change in approach
especially since he wont get to practice it at all. most teams only carry 3 QBs and QB3 is largely on scout reps pretending to be other team. you dont waste reps on these guys during real game weeks QB4? might not even get a clipboard bro. i think the best thing for him would be a release
Not necessarily wrong but where would he go? No one really seemed interested in drafting him lol. Unless Jerry wants the circus and is willing to do Deion a solid he’s kinda SOL. The browns have some weapons and a nice defense so if he can get on the field he could do something
This is true
Yes
^ Ftr this comment wasn't meant to hype up Shedeur, it was about raising concerns on Caleb.
Last year he took so many damn sacks. I do think that a lot of the blame for his struggles were due to the coaching with Shane Waldron. Ben Johnson should give him a lot more stability, and hopefully the Bears offensive line improves (it was utter shite most of the time last year).
Agreed to all. Situations/circumstances are vital to a young QB
^ Full transparency, this is something I've underrated in the past.
I think that is common. The more you learn about the NFL game, the more things fall into place. I was a writer/editor for over a decade and my thought processes changed dramatically the longer I did that (got out in late 2020 due to COVID and stress).
