Labour, the Greens, and Te Pāti Māori all want different things. But there's plenty of common ground between them, and a shared agenda can easily be constructed. They are natural allies. Two of the parties recognise this. Labour doesn't. So why should we vote for spoilers?

I don't think it's quite like that. Labour are willing to find common ground, but that doesn't mean they can't disagree. But I think when the results come in, and they have to work with the Greens and TPM, they will. They've done it before. And before you say it, I don't party vote Labour.

IMHO, Labour knows it will have to form a coalition. It just makes these 'we won't claims' each election to try and encourage people to give 2 ticks to Labour rather than planning to split their votes. #Gaming #nzpol
