It is genuinely fuckn' vile we cannot (unless you're super rich, I suppose) Same for healthcare, same for anything really. It is beyond fucked up we force disabled people outside the home to possible get infected, to spend energy better spent healing or resting on getting somewhere.
When I got COVID for the first and only time in 2022, while I'm grateful that it was mild and no long COVID symptoms have shown up yet, still would not wish that bout of razor throat I had for like...a day, on ANYBODY
Sounds like hell, I'm so sorry 😭 I got it in Aug 2022, but I do not remember that symptom, I may have lucked out there.
That was thankfully ALSO the worst of it for me. But lemme tell ya by the end of the quarantine period I was about to McFucking lose it
*wheezes* McFucki'n lose it 😂😭 Very, very much empathize. I'm still in isolation myself, yes it does suck but I hated being bedbound more than this.
