Oops we forgot to put any story in the final season

The sound of bells drive some people to murder whole cities maybe?

The biggest reason this part pisses me off is, in the book I think it would have made sense. But they cut out all the things in the show that would have led to it. Like multiple characters that would incite the incident, gone. Entire arcs rushed. I'll never forgive them.
