So yes, I admit, the "dark ages" does sound pretty awesome, but it's a biased misnomer, it's subjective, not objective. If we are going to be like that, we should all most of history dark. Let's not.

I get it - but to be fair they used "dark" the same way cosmologists use "dark" nowadays - to recognize the lack of knowledge about something. It actually describes the flawed act of recording history. In reality any title is problematic: Is "middle ages" okay? Why? Aren't all ages sandwiched? 😅
