Spreadshirt has new terms and conditions! They're going to let customers fiddle with your designs in AI. Unless you opt out. Here's what @arkady-rose.bsky.social received about this. Rose has deleted *all* designs, closed account and said they'll sue if Spreadshirt *ever* touch their stuff.
![Hello Rose, Starting on 15 September 2025, we will be adjusting the design prices – i.e. the amounts on which your remuneration for your sold designs is based – and placing them on a new basis. We are striving for a balanced solution, which is why some prices will decrease while others will increase. We categorise our product catalogue into 3 different quality levels. The respective level of the product on which your design is sold determines your compensation. There is also an adjustment in the self-design area. In the coming months, we will additionally unlock an AI functionality for our customers, allowing them to easily adjust marketplace designs via prompt. If your design is edited in our designer with this function, you will still receive the regular compensation for the original design. I wonder if one could trace the steady decline in QoL everywhere to the insidious way that corporate systems went for "opt out" as the default instead of "opt in" (because it's so much cheaper for them.)

Oh gods, yes, it's that, isn't it? I hadn't really considered that opt-out/in is basically a subset of consent (which also says something about my limited experience or ability to put two and two together!)
