hard part is that a lot of it's too stupid (not as stupid as crypto but it's trying) the machine is conceptually simple, the demo is amazing, but this isn't a product in a box

and a separate thing is the process of how this is sold to the public. i rapidly realised *this* is what Pivot to AI is about, and the tech is almost irrelevant

It is so stupid, that it makes it even harder to explain to someone who sees GenAI everywhere and feels like an idiot for NOT using it! The blurring of lines between GenAI and other forms of machine learning don't help either. A deliberate strategy, I'm sure.

like how i'd be asked "how *does* a blockchain work" and i wouldn't even give a tech answer, i'd detail why it exists, i.e. an excuse to evade regulation using the tech as an excuse

i think we do need to acknowledge the demo is *very* impressive. We can just have a conversation with a computer now, holy shit! except the computer is also a lying idiot, and being a lying idiot is intrinsic to how it works, so this can never be fixed
