Not even just on minimum wage. Solidly middle class people can't even get into a mortgage anymore. Where are they supposed to put a kid?

We are very solidly middle class, and we still went on the small side of what we could have gotten in a loan.

That even if you can get a mortgage, it has to be on the lowest end of your allowable if you want to make ends meet.

Okay, my post is about the younger gens who can’t buy ANY dwelling of their own at all because even small ones in their area cost >$600k now. People having to/being able downsize is not the same thing
