I’m saying that he openly said he doesn’t want to adapt the game in a game adaptation. As a note: praising elements of a film that you haven’t seen isn’t better than deriding them. It’s still commenting on things you haven’t experienced.

I'm going to actually see the movie. Then I can say if I like or dislike the movie. I'm not defending it by letting you know the elements that offend you don't offend me.
