From StatPearls .. a single course should not exceed 5 days use without kidney function being evaluated. It’s VERY hard on the kidneys. Same deal if you’re taking the NSAID dosing of Ibuprofen (800mg, 3x/day) you have got to drink a ton to flush your kidneys and keep them happy
