I don't want them at all, but if they have to do them they could at least make them better looking. The hashtag in the top right drops to the bottom of the screen then goes to the left, unfurling a ticker behind it. The posts show up there for a while, then the next match starts and it goes...

...back up then across to the right. Very basic animation, but it keeps the vast majority of the screen clean while drawing attention to the posts and hashtag together for those who want it. And the ticker would take up much less space than the post its they're using too.

I honestly don't want them at all for a number of reasons. 1) Someone else pointed it feels very "corporate," and I think that's a good way to describe it. It feels off brand. 2) I hate seeing AEW promote that platform 3) I want to watch the show. If I want social media, I have access to it.

Pretty much my opening paragraph, and I've yet to see anyone who differs. Marketing Mik knows that they're using it to capitalise on the drop off of WWE fans coming over and get them comfortable with what they're used to until they're settled in. He also hates it, and that it works.

Marketing Mik also knows when a directive has come from outside a company and what malicious compliance designed to get fan backlash looks like. 😉

Huh. That's interesting and I hadn't considered that as a possibility.
