In a turn of events literally no-one could have predicted (satire), the Bear Gulch Fire has grown and total containment of the blaze has also decreased. Divert experienced fire crews off into the hinterlands on a BS errand to be waylaid by ICE; now the fire is bigger and less contained.
KIRO (fashy) has a weirdly-worded headline. Containment has dropped 23% (down to 10% contained). Fire area is now ~9,400 acres. Weather hasn't been challenging; it's even been slightly damp!
😍 linguistic contortions: "Although there has been a drop in containment, Bear Gulch Fire Information says that it doesn’t mean that progress was lost. ... as the fire grows, the containment can shift somewhat." The fire grew in size, and less contained. But that doesn't mean progress was lost!
