Wait a second...Dying earth as in The Dying Earth from Jack Vance or is it only a theme? Not that it matters, this appealing either way but it would be interesting if it was.
I mean it's a theme, but dying earth is a genre that encompasses Jack Vance's work as well as other novels like Gene Wolfe's Book of the New Sun - but yeah, Jack Vance is an inspiration!

Uh Jrpg, i liked everything about Dread Delusion except the way death was handled. i imagine a Jrpg would fix that, so very stoked to see more.
Very excited to see this! I see the tactical turn based battles line, so you can actually move your units around a grid?
Yeah, so we've tried to walk a middle line between traditional JRPGs, and tactical games like FF: Tactics, Battle Brothers, Banner Saga etc... So there are two rows; front defends the back, but only ranged can attack from the back. Grid based like you say. Reposition takes a turn... etc.
Oooo that sounds kinda like the way I was hoping Koldelka's battle systems would work when I played it.
