I am not saying that I feel this 100% about Starmer. He’s in an invidious position. But as I see it, there’s a big chunk of middle England that won’t vote for him, and I think their issues with him aren’t fixable.

There will always be a big chunk of the population who won’t vote for you. But I think you overestimate how much people care about anything but themselves. Most people aren’t paying anything like the attention to this stuff that you seem to think. If they feel better off in 2029 Labour wins.

A big chunk of middle England want to retire at 51 with a huge property portfolio and pay 15% taxes in the meantime, all under a leader who kicks the poor in a way that is satisfying but not embarrassingly unpleasant.

That 'big chunk of middle England' will be faced with a choice at the next election, whatever your views of Starmer, and I don't think they're all particularly Farage adjacent voters
