And, of course, that had already been the case for massive Civil Rights and Vietnam War protests in the 60s and 70s, to say nothing of the impressive workers rights and suffragette gatherings earlier (2/2)

And ACT UP protesting for AIDS research and funding, it actually worked. They all did to some degree. Now it’s just one National, sponsored protest taking place in each city. Not the same effect as marching en mass on Washington

I am wondering if there is going to be some kind of call for white bodies to come to DC to stand with or in front of our brothers & sisters of color. 1 million white bodies to Washington or 10 million. I am thinking this might be the time to pay for the privilege that we’ve carried since birth. 🤷‍♀️
