Huh...I thought the season was over. They good! Nothing better than biking around the orchards and grabbing a peach growing over a fence! Tho I haven't done that in years!

I made two peach pies. I’m getting ready to pick up more for canning. It gets us through the winter. The other item I like to prepare and store/freeze is hatch green chilies

They're great in salsa, too. It's hard to believe peaches grow on the Western Slope, but thankfully irrigation can make it happen.
