not just anyone can get ECF login - if you file in Pacer you know 1) initiate the case & pay filing fee - get Cause #; 2)add Cause # to Complaint, JS44 & Rule 7.1 Disclosures; 3)file Complaint w/JS44 as attachment; 4)file Rule 7.1 Disclosure. If you don’t complete 2-4 your case still shows on dkt.

Ha! I’m an attorney but was a paralegal for years before I went to law school - they definitely don’t teach how to actually get shit done in law school - great paralegals are an invaluable asset to attorneys!
