And that's a wrap. Fucking devastating movie. They don't make em like they used to.

The match cut from Lawrence blowing out the light to the desert sunset is the best edit in the history of cinema
I had to show my partner while watching it this time. It takes my fucking breath away. It's so good
it is one insane film
I watch this movie at least once a year it's just so damn good!
Fuck yeah. This is only the second time I've been able to see it. I'd love to catch it in cinemas sometime too
The first time I ever saw it as teenager they showed it in a local theater they did the intermission and everything! That was the first and last time I've seen it in a theater though and I'm pretty sure it was prior to the remaster
Oh yeah, looked it up, it was way before the remaster lol
My partner saw the 1926 Phantom of the Opera in a theater with a live organist. it's fine. that's only one of my favorite horror movies of all time. ignore the writhing I'm not jealous I just do that
The phantom of the opera was my second crush as a kid. First one was Link. I too am jealous of your partner 😂
that sounds magical
Time to blast this song: youtu.be/wj-7yP3fG9g?...
When they say "you couldn't make that movie now", like, literally, a 4 hour epic with an intermission is something Hollywood has no place for anymore, and I weep for that. Incredibly epic film, an all-timer.
I've not seen that one but man Peter O'Toole could act (I saw Beckett for class in college and loved it)
He’s unbelievable.
