Although to be fair, as a parent of an autistic girl and an ADHD girl, we always thought it was “about” neurodiversity. (Elsa has overwhelming meltdowns and is scared she is hurting those around her, Anna is very ADHD coded) 😂
So I’m a hypocrite.
I think Frozen is a film about the day being saved by the love and acceptance of two people who are sisters (and are neurodiverse), and the help of people who love them. It doesn't require a male romantic hero focus, which is what offends Jordan Peterson's worldview.
I think I heard this is down to a late (inspired) rewrite. One of the sisters was originally to be irredeemably evil, and presumably that made space for a routine outing of a prince/princess Disney tale. I don't know the film well, but maybe the change left the prince character with nowhere to go?
Story I heard was the writing team had to go back to the drawing board after the producers heard "Let It Go."

I'm not sure he has ever actually *watched* the damn film. Once you know that Hans is the bad guy, it's painfully obvious from the start. Even if you don't know, he is still creepy and manipulative and weird. A bit like Peterson I guess...
