Places I have found mine in the past - in a compost heap, in the fridge, in a rarely used glasses case, under the car, beside a car seat, on the front door step

Sorry, can't help. Personal experience says I'll make the problem worse (I once found my car keys in the fridge, and that was BEFORE I got old).

Thank you for the suggestion to look for my glasses on my head but I don't do that, it doesn't work as a storage solution for me, my cranium bends the arms. (they were in my apron pocket)
