one of the worst things about this nice mess is how many people picked a side without realising what the war is for

@coldwarsteve.bsky.social summed it up pretty well. I think about what my dad and my uncles went through in the army, navy and RAF during WW2. Then the Fagash Fuhrer took the freedoms that they helped to win and used it to transport us back to early 1930s Germany.
