No its not all mental health. It's gun co's selling rifles like a AR-15 like crack on a corner. In states it's easier to buy an AR-15 than a handgun-no bckgrnd check needed & no age restriction. U can walk down the street openly carrying one in many cities, even Chicago, due to Illinois state law.
So, while mental health probs r a cause for some of the mass shootings its not the only culprit. A person being able to carry a handgun w/o addit'l training or an AR15 in the trunk is more likely to use that gun when angry, like during road rage incidents, than if there were more steps to pass.
I've carried a gun for most of my life, growing up with them-used for hunting, protection, etc. Those saying they NEED it for either of those is full of shit. The fact that I now carry a tourniquet/chest seal in my purse shows the sad state we r now in. We NEED an assault weapon ban more than ever.
An AR15 is only needed if putting down an elephant or maybe, Big Foot 🤣. If u NEED an AR15 to hunt, I suggest u go to the shooting range and learn how to aim.
Agreed. But at least one Republican Senator said that he needs his AR15 for hunting.
