The folly of paying too much attention to the data guys is that data like this doesn't reflect lived reality. Harris voters are not the only group likely to cut off people for political views. Conservatives do this too, they just wouldn't say "Yes" to that particular question.
Add it to the list "accusations that are actually confessions" for conservatives. They've made that particular farse part of their party identity. "We believe that you are free to have any opinion you like, as long as you live under a regime that is in alignment with MY opinion on the issue."
Refusing to accept your queer/trans kid is cutting off someone for political reasons. Constantly bringing up MAGA shit to the point your friends/family can't talk to you anymore is functionally cutting off someone for politics. Calling liberals antifa terrorists is cutting people off for politics.
