Everyone you disagree with is racist, and all white people are evil, especially if they have an opinion. Got it.
I'm white. Its not that hard to not get called a racist if you follow this one simple rule: . Dont say racist shit.
The classic: ‘If you talk about racism, you must hate all white people.’ That’s a strawman wrapped in fragility. Critiquing racism doesn’t equal hating white folks. If your first reflex is to center your feelings instead of the system tells me you’re unprepared to have this conversation.
If you have to change the definition of the word "racist" so you can make the claim that "only white people can be racist", that sounds pretty racist to me. But, as I said on another thread, since OP kept quoting my replies out and not responding in thread important context is missing, so I'm out.
Peer-reviewed research makes it plain: racism = prejudice + systemic power. Google says that too racist POS. Racism isn’t hurt feelings, it’s structural oppression. If your whole argument depends on pretending racism is just ‘being mean,’ you’re not debating, you’re protecting white supremacy.
You know, using solely the definition, one could make an argument that Black people may not be able to be prejudice towards white people. "The act or state of holding unreasonable preconceived judgments or convictions." After all the history, I find it hard to say it would be unreasonable.
How is being skeptical of white people "unreasonable" in any way, at all, given the long history of, and current reality, of us (white people) being violent, racist assholes? Im white, and even Im fuckin prejudiced about white people. I'm not self hating, not "trying to be black", just honest.
🤔
"Waaaa, i hate when people see the words I'm saying easily, the quote function sucks!"
You're trying to change the definition by omitting its historical origins. "The concept of "race" is a social invention, not a biological reality, that was developed by Europeans during the Age of Exploration to justify colonial conquest, enslavement, and the establishment of racial hierarchies."
If people disagree with @talibkweli.bsky.social about racism, they would be racist (if white), or the prop up white supremacy of not white. I'm white, he hasn't called me racist or evil. He didn't call someone a racist because they like a different I've cream than he does.
That's not what he said at all. This is your own made-up propaganda showing you refuse to listen to Black people and prefer to completely lie about what they say. That's very racist.
