The problem with Contraptoints is that she WASN'T silent... She said something alright, but it was such genocide enabling racist finger wagging centrist bullshit. I respected her and her work, but she was so utterly cowardly on this. Changed my whole viewpoint from now on
the controversy caused her shitty statement, not the other way around
I'm also disappointed that HBomb didn't do a fundraiser stream like he did for trans rights. He has such a huge following, he'd have absolutely raised money. It seems irresponsible to be a political commentator, have a huge following, and then not use it to support political causes 🤷
He's actually explained a bit on his patreon why he's been a bit silent on that front lately. He's been filming in the US and was afraid he could be denied a work visa or be deported. Once he's back in the UK he wants to go back more fundraising and speaking out more.
