So tell me how banning guns will protect children? Because the criminals are not just gonna, follow the rules and not use their guns. Just admit you just want people defenseless and vulnerable.

It’s almost 30 years since the Dunblane massacre. In Scotland. Where there is significant control over firearms. It’s not difficult.

An excellent point, significantly impeding the ability for people in those situations to have easy access to firearms would certainly help then wouldn’t it.

yes because as we can see, school shootings are being deterred! look at you, you solved our problem, good job not a single one of these people have been shot by some mythical strapped hero turns out, unless you suggest the children have guns, no one is protecting them

There is this funny and rare job type called: Security Officer (Armed or not) Still haven’t explained how banning guns will stop criminals from using guns.

Like, actually, can someone explain to me why it’s always SCHOOLS? Is it maybe because schools are most often, if not always, the most vulnerable, unguarded, undefended locations with easy targets that can’t/won’t fight back? How do you protect sheep from wolves without a dog and or a gun?

Mass shootings happen in places other than schools. By your logic, we should see fewer in places with more guns among the general populace. So show us that data, and I’ll pay attention. But so far, I have no evidence higher rates of gun ownership is correlated with higher rates of safety.

I can’t look it up at this very moment, but I remember seeing a graph report showing that most major shootings happen in areas with significant gun control. This was back in 2019, so I don’t know if the stats have changed since.

I’m not sure what your source is, but the facts suggest the opposite is true. A 2019 BMJ study found that states with more permissive gun laws experienced significantly higher rates of mass shootings. But I’m sure the source of your graph is unimpeachable.
