I read an interview with someone who writes cozy mysteries & keeps a grueling pace (a book a month) so she started using AI. Her readers praised the AI's work, not her portions, and she got mad. NGL, I don't think I'd recover from hearing that my own work was worse than stolen slop. 😭

I would sooner walk into the ocean than admit such a thing, yes

I was kinda agog that it was in a print interview. Apparently, she slowed down AI use and tried to improve her own work and is now in favor of using it in moderation. But whew, no ma'am. If that happened to me, I would never be heard from again. There's a crevasse with my name on it.

Yup. Clearly I'm done in this field, nothing further to contribute.

As my Granny used to say, cheaters never prosper and liars never win. The curve of fate is a hard hit to the ass. She deserves it.
