Be very thankful you are not on Frontier. A 1 gb file takes me at least 3 hours to d/l.... and that's when it runs right.
lordy i can’t imagine. ours isn’t normally that bad but it has been completely unusable for the past few weeks. can’t use it on my phone and when i want to play on my xbox i’m having to use my phone’s hotspot 🥲
It is absolutely funny all things considered even when I’m frustrated. Cox has the monopoly on internet in our area and we’ve been having outages once every two weeks for three months
same here we’ve had problems before but it’s literally been completely unusable these past few weeks. the second i wake up i have to turn my wifi off on my phone to use it, and i’ve been having to use my hotspot on my phone to PLAY GAMES on xbox. my hotspot is more consistent than the wifi 🥲
I felt this so much 😭 we’ve been having all our issues recently because almost our whole neighborhood is under construction and it keeps getting reported that they’re knocking out lines 💀

ugh cox always gave us issues then they started charging out the ass extra!! now we have totally unlimited cracked out fiber wifi that’s way cheaper somehow but AMAZING. still bugs every now and again but it’s a smaller company
hahha i also had wifi issues and i called my provider, they didn't find anything in the costumer support but they directed to an engineer who called later the same day. they said they changed some processes behind the scenes and updated the router. whatever they did, it definitely worked
they couldn’t see any issues but they’re sending us a new modem so hopefully that fixes it
sometimes it is hardware, but at least in my experience it hasn't been ever one good habit to have is to shut down the router every now and then. mine always works at least somewhat better when i restart it. because it's something usually running 24/7, sometimes shutting it down a minute helps
yeah my boyfriend is very techy so he’s tried everything 😭 we’ve unplugged and reset the modem at least 5 times and it hasn’t made a difference at all unfortunately
could be your modem i guess if no one else in the area has issues... could be your ISP but i know in the US you might not have any options. here i could choose from like 4 different ISP's in my area (small country so it's easier to have coverage)
