If true, state laws have to apply, right? Kidnapping? If they are not federal agents, drop the hammer on them with state charges, either now or after this orange pestilence has left our land.

Good point. That is the flaw in my thought - so obvious that I looked right past it. So the next logical conclusion is that, absent an internal revolt from these "alleged" ICE agents or another federal LE agency, we are f'k are a nation.

Employed 20+ yrs in State Judicial system as a probation officer. Then OPM contractor background investigator. Never saw LE arrest another unless they had warrants after an investigation usually by a State's Atty or State Police.

I think you just confirmed the conclusion that, absent an internal revolt by a federal LE organization against these tactices, we are f'd as a nation? If trump can get enough of them to comply, most of the rest will follow. Same goes for law firms, journalists, etc.

I also believe they deputized private security and or engaged Proud Boys/Oath Keepers as deputies. They've been very quiet. Too quiet!

That, plus the paid-by-the-snatch contract employees are all the rumors. I'm surprised that the deputized and contract employees have kept their mouths shut about this so far.
