I did see a number of posts from people in the UK saying YouTube was blocking their VPN a few weeks ago but I can't speak to how widespread that was or if it's still happening.

yeah, I don't know if they're bannable en masse, or if there are just some easy ways to ban the ones that are like, big on the app store.

It's easy for sites to block known VPN addresses en-masse but they have to do it globally. They can't just block UK visitors who are using VPNs I don't see how banning VPNs in the UK is politically possible. It would be insanely expensive for government & everyday businesses, & easily worked around
