yeah, it's really similar actually-- the intense, defensive dedication to something that has basically no benefits for you anymore and makes you feel like shit all the time

I remember YEARS ago at the start of his crazy crusade him tweeting about how he needed to stop tweeting so much because his wife said he was spending too much time at it so he wouldn't be on as much. And then came right back. Even if you *weren't* posting hate, go be with your family, dude???
