I was just asked why I sometimes/often post things that seem to be anti-men, when in fact I am one. I don't hate men, only a certain type of man, and we all know some of them. I am not in fact a true misandrist. (look it up 😜) I'm a very special breed of man called a... Realist.
Misandry is just a word men made up to dismiss women rightfully calling out their bad behavior.
I know that some bigoted "men's groups" have latched onto this word to have a false equivalency with misogyny. But it's a real word, and I think I used it correctly (hopefully) from the Greek misos (μῖσος 'hatred')+ anēr, andros (ἀνήρ, gen. ἀνδρός 'man'). Earliest usage in print is from 1871.
