Correct. For so long american outlets specifically have had to avoid using correct terminology because of “alliances” but when diplomacy becomes a barrier to human rights it’s no longer diplomacy but aiding and abetting war crimes.

They don’t have to do that, they chose (and still choose) to. And it was a violation of their only duty: to report the truth.
