i gave in to my inner Tove and George a long time ago, maybe it's time to go wild and let that inner Sergio out, too. they all want to go out for fancy tacos and i'm all for that. anyway, this will be my Tip Jar image on Patreon, once it's scanned and colored.
one last question for the chats; i do a basic pencil outline for all my doodles, are these still justified as doodles? 🤔 i think so cuz i'm not a purist. my dad called his poetry scribbles... i'm a call 'em doodles anyhoo cuz they're spontaneous.
i guess that was less of a question and more of a statement that i'm gonna call them what i want. goodness me, why isn't anyone yelling at me to scan my doodles, already??
okay, now they're scanned. anyhoo, this is the beast of burden that allows me to make the comics all pretty and colorful.
honestly these pen & ink doodles don't take me much time at all, and i enjoy drawing them fast. i'm no Sergio Aragones, that man is like if a hyper-active hummingbird drew comics! but i can be pretty danged fast. and i kinda just wanna tap into that side of myself, more. 🖋️ off to the scanner!
