Idk why but in the last month people have been finally breaking the social rule of asking why I'm still masking. Some of it is hostile or meant to make fun of me. What the hell is going on idk what changed

I usually dodge the question bc I don't think they care or want to be convinced to wear a mask. If they do care, I'll say disability solidarity and not wanting long covid

I used to say 'I can't afford to get covid' just to leave the question hanging as to whether they think they can. But yes, I don't think I'm changing views anymore.

Yeah like are they putting more covid bigotry in the kool-aid? What the hell. I prefer being ignored and secretly judged to the confrontation, at least I can get on with my day
