For my insurance to cover a whole breast ultrasound, I had to have the mammograms first, and then have results that required followup. That led to two more sets of mammograms with negative findings. Ultrasounds are often ordered after positive findings with the second set of mammograms.

I'm one of them! Was told in the letter the doc sent me with my results. But I actually never heard about doing ultrasound/MRI. Thx for the tip! I'll have to remember that come January, see what the doc thinks. ❤️
