Jerry Nadler has had immigrants’ backs his whole career. His office in Congress has been working hard on positive immigration legislation for decades. I’m sad to see him go but I can’t help but feel glad he is able to leave in good health and with time to enjoy retirement.

Absolutely, Jerry Nadler's dedication to immigrant rights and his long-standing commitment to positive legislation have truly made a difference. While it's sad to see him go, it's heartening to know he's leaving with good health and the opportunity to enjoy his retirement.

He truly seems like a legit good dude, and this is an important decision at an important time. Hope he inspires other boomer Dems to do the same!

Nadler has been outmatched at work by nimble 60 year old brains for a long time

Brad Lander should replace him. (I know Lander represented Brooklyn in the NYC council. Don't care. He's got citywide appeal now.)
