A problem is that Russian propaganda is expanding, while Europe is doing nothing. BBC is also withdrawing from international news. The West should understand we live in the digital, information age in which being present, visibly, to broader audiences is vital. Why do only populists understand this?
That’s scary
'Outspoken British politician Nigel Farage has been offered his own show by the Kremlin-sponsored Russia Today television channel, Britain's Telegraph newspaper reported Friday.' www.themoscowtimes.com/2016/09/09/r...
Farage serves as Trump & Putin’s Lord Haw-Haw- he’s like a remora or sucker fish that clings to Authoritarian sharks to make a living.
And remember that Russia nearly does not need that propaganda : the West is still funding and helping a genocide, right now, in violation of every international laws and agreements. Thus, whatever we say about the crimes of Russia in Ukraine is dwarfed by our support of Israel in Gaza.

Also, the principal mechanism of Kremlin propaganda is not RT or Sputnik. Rather, the local disinformation sources supported by undisclosed Moscow gold in each country - they sometimes quote RT or Sputnik, but more often just reproduce the content as their own.
