I appreciate the Guardian referring to this family as "the late Nazi’s two daughters in Buenos Aires." The thieving family's attempt to keep secret their possession of a looted painting was foiled by an Argentinian real estate website. The late Nazi is Friedrich Kadgien, a senior aide to Göring.

When people hold onto art that doesn't belong to them, I wonder what's going on. There's no hint they're selling it. Why keep it if it's stolen? I think evil humans try to hang onto some kind of totemic magic in art. They don't understand it; but they want the energy they perceive it to have.
